On August 25, 2025, we joined the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Uruguay’s Declaration of Independence, hosted by the Embassy of Uruguay in Seoul.

The evening was filled with warm greetings and meaningful encounters.

Ambassadors and diplomats from many countries came together, sharing in the spirit of Uruguay’s historic milestone.

I had the pleasure of meeting friends from the diplomatic community, exchanging words of friendship and cooperation. Each conversation reminded me of the importance of cultural bridges between nations.

We sincerely congratulate Uruguay on this bicentennial celebration.
¡Feliz Bicentenario, Uruguay! 🎉

On August 25, 2025, I, Hyun Joon Park, CEO of Wellbeing200, had the honor of being invited to attend the Bicentennial Independence Day celebration of Uruguay at the Embassy of Uruguay in Seoul.

Uruguay, though modest in size, is respected around the world for its vibrant democracy, high quality of life, and warm culture of hospitality. Within South America, it is recognized as a small yet stable and exemplary economic model.

Agriculture and livestock remain at the heart of Uruguay’s economy. Premium beef, soybeans, and dairy products are highly competitive in global markets, supported by environmentally friendly and fully traceable production systems that enhance the trustworthiness of Uruguayan agricultural goods.

Uruguay is also a leader in renewable energy, generating over 90% of its electricity from wind, hydro, and solar power—further strengthening its sustainable national image. In recent years, the country has also achieved successful industrial diversification, with notable growth in IT and software, financial services, and tourism, while the Port of Montevideo has become a logistics hub for South America.

As the CEO of Wellbeing200, my mission is to develop and supply green bio foods for global dementia prevention. In this journey, I see great potential in Uruguay’s natural plant resources. For example, soy isoflavones, grape resveratrol, and functional varieties of rice and tea are ingredients of high interest that hold strong potential for the development of dementia-prevention biofoods.

I sincerely look forward to building stronger relations and creating greater synergy together in the future.
