Wellbeing200 has launched a fermentation-coffee research project aimed at dementia prevention and cognitive wellness. The company has selected specialty beans from four origins โ Ethiopia, Tanzania, Brazil and Saudi Arabia โ and plans to present its first tasting batch in early 2026.
The project seeks to boost brain-friendly compounds such as polyphenols and GABA through fermentation while preserving rich aroma and flavor.
To advance global cognitive health, Wellbeing200 will collaborate with coffee-producing countries that maintain close ties with Korea, sign MOUs with local partners, and explore localization strategies for large-scale production.
