Wellbeing200 Establishes Quality Grading Standards for Manmeoksul

Defining the Quality of Natural Dementia-Prevention Foods Through Science

Since founding Wellbeing200, I have held one central question in mind:
“How can we scientifically prove the quality of a natural-ingredient food?”

The compound sulforaphane, derived from broccoli sprouts, has already been highlighted in numerous global studies for its roles in neuroprotection, anti-inflammation, and antioxidation.
Yet few companies have experimentally quantified how it is generated and maintained under real-world conditions — and then used that data to define a scientific quality standard for their products.

Through a two-year joint study with the Healthcare Spa Industry Promotion Institute,
we at Wellbeing200 have found the answer.
We successfully identified the optimal conditions for sulforaphane formation in broccoli sprouts and, based on these results, established the Quality Control Standard for our flagship product, Manmeoksul (“Made-to-Activate Sulforaphane”).

The Core Experiment

In 2024, we focused on the sulforaphane generation conditions at the raw-material stage.
In 2025, we extended the experiments to the commercial product itself — Manmeoksul.

The findings were clear:
When Manmeoksul powder is mixed with room-temperature water, microwaved for 20 seconds, and then left at room temperature for 10 minutes,
its sulforaphane content reached 8.12 ± 0.02 mg/g, the highest recorded value.

This procedure is not just a preparation method — it became the scientific foundation of our Quality Grade System.
In other words, experimental data became the “language of quality” for Wellbeing200.

Defining Quality Through Numbers

Because natural foods vary depending on environmental factors,
our goal was to transform what has long been considered “organic intuition” into visible science.

We have now built a quantitative Quality Grade System (A/B/C grades) based on sulforaphane concentration.
This grading is not a marketing label — it represents the biological potency and integrity of the active compounds contained in each batch.

A Scientific Framework for Trust

Each Manmeoksul unit (single serving) contains approximately 10 mg of active sulforaphane,
a significantly higher level than that found in typical broccoli sprout powders.
This ensures safe and efficient consumption in everyday environments.

To move beyond “functional food” status toward a true
Evidence-Based Natural Food,
Wellbeing200 has already established the following framework:

  1. Quality Grading Standardization (Quality Grade System)
→ Each production lot is classified and managed based on laboratory data.
  2. Domestic and International Standardization & Certification
→ Alignment with K-Food quality certification, Vegan and Halal standards.
  3. Data-Driven Production and Distribution System
→ Integrated linkage between laboratory testing, manufacturing, and distribution for real-time quality monitoring.

Final Thoughts

I do not see the quality grading of Manmeoksul as a single research milestone.
It represents the first baseline for Wellbeing200’s entry into the Green Bio era
where quality is defined by data and trust is built through visibility.

To me, quantifying quality is not merely a technical task;
it is a declaration that dignity in food begins with scientific transparency.

“To quantify quality is to design trust.”
